I am a 19 year old from Chichester, a small city in the south coast of England. My love for British Real Ale has led to a somewhat unhealthy obsession with brewing my own beer. Armed with little more than a stock pot, a plastic bucket, and some fresh natural ingredients, I mash, ferment, and keg my way to homebrewed beer happiness. Is life great? This is a diary of my homebrew activities; a personal record of my successes and failures. I am always greatful for any feedback on my recipes, advice on what I’m doing wrong, and any constructive criticism you may have, so feel free to comment and let me know what you really think! Relax, don’t worry, have a homebrew, and read on…

Wow, 19 huh? You wouldn’t even be legal yet over here in the old U S of A. I’ve never had British Real Ale. I suppose that’s something I need to try and find.
I’ve had beers out of a barrel that were served somewhat warm with a beer engine but I suppose that doesn’t count?
